Math Olympics

From 2 to 32 players solve the same addition and subtraction on their phones. Choose 10, 20 or 30 challenges and 15, 30, 45 or 60 seconds each. Every correct answer earns 100 points; speed earns no bonus. Only the first answer counts. When everyone answers or time runs out, the solution appears for 6 seconds. Most points wins; ties share victory. Wrong answers lose no points. Use a nickname; no age or personal details are needed.

Choose your level

Guide: ages 4–6. Choose by skills; no age is recorded.

Guide: ages 6–8. Addition and subtraction up to 20.

Guide: ages 8–10. Addition and subtraction up to 100.

Screen and controllers

The host creates a room and shows its QR on the shared screen. Each participant scans it, enters a nickname and waits for the host to start. The operation and four answers appear on both the shared screen and each phone. No app installation is needed.

Display, controllers and reconnecting

Open montelana.com/tv on the shared display and enter the room code. Each player scans the QR or visits montelana.com/join, enters a name and keeps that browser as a private controller. An invitation QR never grants control over another player. The host starts the game; the public display does not take a seat. Keep the same session to reconnect. There are no saved games or email recovery; tables expire after 24 hours without activity. Opening this manual in another tab does not pause timers.
